Awendaw Green is a ten-acre indoor/outdoor live music venue in Awendaw, South Carolina. They have a large red barn and every Wednesday night they host a “Barn Jam,” to which musicians from all over go to play, hang out, sit in and have fun. It’s a free event that has been going on for close to two years. Eddie White, the owner, asked Mount Pleasant, South Carolina-based Gil Shuler Graphic Design to create a poster announcing the event. Shuler thought it would be cool if the poster was a jam or jelly jar; the response to it was so great that he’s since been designing one for every Wednesday night. Created on a weekly basis, the posters are printed digitally and featured on the Awendaw Green site.
