The Barcelona Pensa festival offers a wide range of philosophy-oriented activities, such as apocalyptic cinema screenings, philosophy for kids, a conference about refugees and hospitality and aphorism workshops. Barcelona-based design firm Studio Carreras, founded by designer and illustrator Genís Carreras, created a striking identity system for the festival to communicate its different events. Every element features a different activity with a simple symbol defined by a geometric outline and one vibrant color, scaleable to all print and online applications. The plurality of symbols created—more than 40—becomes the identity for Barcelona Pensa itself. The identity reflects the simplicity and playfulness of Carreras’s work, and helps the festival convey its offerings with graphic panache.
The Bulgarian art community came together to design a one-of-a-kind card deck.
