Omaha, Nebraska–based design firm Oxide Design Co. created a new identity for the Boston Rams, a youth-level affiliate of the American professional soccer league New England Revolution. Balancing a mixture of old and new styles, Oxide Design Co. developed a logo that combines the traditional aesthetics of an English football crest with an aggressive US mascot. A merged B and R make up the secondary mark of the identity, and work to connect the sharp angles of the mascot with the round shape of a soccer ball. The design firm also developed several collateral pieces for the team, including kits, apparel, website elements and graphics for social media pages, adding a new level of excitement and professionalism to the team.
