When two pastry chefs from the Chocolate Academy of Barcelona set out to explore their talent, Cacao Barry was born. Through this chocolate brand, cofounders Ramon Morató and Miquel Guarro develop recipes rich in both gastronomic and aesthetic value. Adding a honeyed glaze to it all is packaging by Vic, Spain–based Zoo Studio. Seeking to enhance and complement the attributes of each Cacao Barry product, Zoo whipped up such designs as luxurious tins for “dessert caviar,” tea boxes for “five o’clock” tea-flavored sweets and cork containers for chocolate-wine concoctions.
