Caffeinated is a feature-length documentary, promoted as “the largest and most in-depth film made on coffee.” Producer and director Vishal Solanki asked designer Ozan Karakoc to create a title design and a teaser poster for the project. As a beverage that strongly stimulates the sense of smell, coffee was represented with an organic design approach so that viewers crave coffee while watching the documentary. When Karakoc was creating the title with finely ground coffee, he was immersed in the smell in his studio. Originally not much of a coffee drinker, Karakoc started drinking the beverage after being exposed to the aroma for hours. The logo is now officially presented to the public via Caffeinated’s social media pages.
