When it began looking for innovative, iconic designs for their new drinks, LemonAid Beverages GmbH contacted Swedish design firm BVD. The two drinks form a unique venture, from which most of the profits will be used for social purposes managed by the company.

ChariTea is freshly brewed tea with natural additions of fruit, not to be confused with the so-called ice teas, made from extracts; it will be launched in three flavors to start, all totally ecological and fair trade-labeled. Lemonaid, intended to be served in bars, can be used either as a mixer or on its own. Both drinks are packaged similarly in a classic standard bottle; labels were avoided by having the graphics silkscreened directly onto the bottles, allowing a more integrated design. Both drinks are being launched in Germany and throughout the rest of Europe in the fall.
