Indulge to your heart’s content at The Jazz Age: American Style in the 1920s. The exhibition, currently on display through August 20th at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, is a true celebration of the diversity and dynamism of the period, serving up everything from a carved ruby–and–diamond necklace to a bookcase in the shape of a skyscraper. To inform New York City’s subway commuters about the rich buffet and drum up excitement—and attendance—for the exhibition, ad agency BBDO New York created an outdoor campaign that captures the spirit of the ’20s. The ads feature select exhibition pieces, from vintage radios to diamond baubles, photographed as enticing gourmet delicacies. A celebration of design in all its forms, the campaign invites any and all New Yorkers to satisfy their design cravings at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
