Alex Mikhaylov and Max Chelyadnikov created this new "winter" set of on-air promotional IDs for Russian entertainment channel CTC, just as they have every season since 2010. "This time we decided to go further and make two different sets of ids—one with garlands for special New Year's Eve programming and others linked to the channel's regularly aired shows. The idea was not to use any footage of the series or programs, no recognizable actors or visions, and just make some toyish shorts giving a thin hint to the viewer what's going on. So the toy and cardboard style was the link between two types of IDs. The production process took 3 weeks. Polling taken by channel's marketing service showed that viewers consider this season's IDs as the best of all made since the channel started.
