Delphis Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah are made by Hamilton Russel exclusively for the Nimb Hotel, located in the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark. Tivoli was built in 1853 as an exotic fifteen-acre pleasure garden, complete with theatrical performances, promenade paths, outdoor pavilions, music, public houses, restaurants, cafés, elaborate flower gardens, a merry-go-round and a miniature train. The Art Deco design of the label, created by South African designer Pearly Yon, pays homage to Tivoli’s architecture and its romantic essence. It also honors the Haviside’s Dolphin, an endangered species found on the west coast of South Africa and Namibia, which made it an excellent candidate to represent this South African wine. A percentage of the profit from every bottle of Delphis goes toward preserving the Haviside’s from extinction.
