Duvenage is a Melbourne fashion brand that creates clothing and accessories for women who are enthralled by the colorful self-expression of imaginative print designs, yet also poise with all the class, modesty and style of classic silhouettes and styling. To create an identity that embodies Duvenage’s modern take on 1920’s Art Deco, Australia-based logo designer Niels Nolta and art director Josip Kelava let the colors speak for themselves. By paring the majority of colors to an elegant palette of white and gold, Nolta and Kelava created a sense of surprise and playfulness by introducing pops of saturated and pastel colors here and there. Ultimately, just like the fine Italian silk scarves that Duvenage’s director Hayley Ann Archibald designs in-house, the colors of the completed packaging, catalog and other brand elements spoke of luxury, imagination and fearless femininity.
