The Eighth + Olive high-rise office building and parking garage in downtown Seattle is undergoing a remodel and a rebranding that embraces industrial aesthetics. Spaces within the building are opening up to the public as gathering areas, and the angular structure of the architecture is setting the stage for an attractive workspace with modern amenities. The parking garage graphics are designed as a playful expression of the upper level improvements, building on the machine-like architecture in a way that keeps the garage warm and friendly. Each parking level has its own color as well as a bold, unique emblem shape inspired by machinery parts. The graphics combine with clean, modern typography to give the space a lighter, welcoming atmosphere.
