Last year, David Folkman and Craig Jones quit their jobs at Innocent Drinks to start a new brand: Elderbrook Drinks. With a new visual identity by the London-based branding agency & SMITH and copywriting agency We All Need Words, this “better-for-you-cordial” gently mocks the latest health fads while calling out the overclaims of sugary soft drinks and squash, a type of concentrated fruit drink. 

& SMITH’s visual identity showcases the vibrant work of young illustrators Enrica Casentini, Ana Jaks and Quentin Monge, from the UK creative agency YCN. Elderbrook has plans to champion new illustrators as the company grows.

Sent by mail and sold in independent shops, Elderbrook doesn’t pretend to be full of your five-a-day nutrients, turn you into a Yogi in one sip or give you Popeye muscles. But it is better for you than most spoonfuls-of-processed-sugar soft drinks, and its colorful identity is the start of a tasty experience.
