For a recent tradeshow, San Francisco-based design firm studio1500 was asked to create a distinctive sense of place for Fuego's visitors, evocative of the outdoor landscapes where the company's products are used, that would also reflect its modern design principles. By coupling a detailed attention to design and materials found in modern architecture, they created an intentionally non-tradeshow-booth aesthetic, above which hovered a cluster of screens with projected images of animated clouds drifting on a field of blue. The booth was designed as a set of modular components that can be re-purposed and as much as possible the materials, used to build it, were sustainable.
