Washington, DC–based fashion eyewear retailer Georgetown Optician debuted a new fashion film that tells the quirky story of a fictional family behind the company’s origins. Produced by creative agency Design Army and directed by Dean Alexander, the film follows three characters—Isaac, the father; Irene, the daughter; and Ivan, the son—and their obsessive commitment to all things relating to optical health and fashionable glasses. They even play checkers with eyeball-like pieces and dress as eyes for Halloween. The film’s release online coincided with a brand reboot of Georgetown Optician’s web presence, featuring shareable, original content that helps position the eyeglass retailer as an arbiter of style.
