Designed by Aleksandra Toborowicz, this jubilee album celebrates the 45th anniversary of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, Poland. It features a broad spectrum of the schools’ highlights, including teachers’ and students’ artworks, archival photographs, timelines of teachers’ contributions, maps of Kraków with accents on the academy’s buildings and studios, and an index of graduates. The book contains five covers folded in half, modeled on traditional cardboard briefcases for prints. The album consists of three main sections with metallic dividers, which evoke the traditional metal-printing matrixes. Sewn binding with a visible spine is covered by a belly band.
