We pass them on the street without looking twice. Over time, they fade into the backdrop of the city, forgotten and homeless. San Francisco agency Altitude, created this campaign to raise awareness of homelessness by having passersby take a second look, and realize that for many, the street is home. The signs, made on found cardboard with hand-stitched type, were framed and hung in public places. While there are many arguments and proposed solutions about how to best help the homeless, they all begin with increasing awareness and compassion.
