“As a nonprofit entity, the American Jazz Museum’s annual report had to serve several purposes: speak to their credibility by relaying holdings and new acquisitions, provide a statement of financials, convey community service, acknowledge contributors and solicit much-needed additional funding,” creative director Craig Neuman explained. “As part of the solicitation, under the heading ‘give,’ we hand-applied a free pass to the museum’s working jazz club that features local and national acts. On the facing page, under the head- ing ‘receive,’ we hand-applied a donation envelope. The design of the piece has been well-received and donations have been brisk.” 45 pages, 7 × 7, perfect-bound, hand-applied chairman’s letter, event pass and donation envelope. 4-color and metallic PMS throughout.
