Background: Kıvılcım Instruments & Pro Audio is one of the most well-known music stores in Turkey, and it connects the world’s most famous music instrument brands with music lovers. Our brief was to showcase the power and quality of Supro amplifiers to music lovers.
Reasoning: Amplifiers are complex products. We tried to create print ads with the simple meaning: Amplifiers increase the sound of the connected device. Our creative resolution was to give some examples from the stuff that we use in daily life. So, we strengthened our narration to make it stick in the mind of consumers.
Challenges: Finding the right examples. All the examples not only had to be loud and electronic devices, but also, they had to be familiar to the audience. We also wanted to use devices that look like each other since only then; our print advertisements would be effective for consumers.
Favorite details: Getting good feedback about our work, which is part of DokuzDoksan’s philosophy. İf we analyze the brief correctly and our clients get the intended feedback, then we know that we have done our job. The rest isn’t important.
Visual influences: We used different colors to diversifying our print ads. Of course, the tools that were used in these ads had to be same colors. This added a different flavor to our design.
Anything new: When we were working on this project, we had a chance to try out the Supro Amplifiers. Having musician friends in our creative team also allowed us to have fun with the project. So, we learned about the meaning of having a good amplifier.
