For TNT’s new series King & Maxwell, the showrunners asked filmmakers at Elastic TV to create an opening title sequence that told the backstory of the show’s two main characters. In just 30 seconds, Elastic needed to communicate the history of this pair of private investigators: Who are they, and how did they come together? So the main title was designed to end where the show begins. Elastic drew upon classic film noir title sequences and brought them into an animated, graphic medium to quickly tell the story.
