When the Investments section of L’Express looked at whether one can build up a property portfolio—while also reducing its tax form—the magazine turned to Sweden’s Emmanuel Polanco to illustrate this entirely plausible scenario. Polanco, who is represented by the Paris- and Montréal-based illustration agency Colagene, Creative Clinic, created a series of twelve illustrations highlighting the devices established by France to promote rental investments and two-way savings. Taxpayers can choose between several devices, such as the Pinel, the Censi-Bouvard and the Malraux.
