La Vaca Atada offers customers Argentinian-style pastries and coffee in Cádiz, Spain. Creative firm Neosbrand developed the café’s brand positioning and identity to reflect its handmade products and heritage. The name comes from an Argentinian expression, “tener la vaca atada,” meaning to have secured a good thing, but literally translates: “to have a captive cow.” For the logo, Neosbrand emphasized a simple emblem featuring a cow in a circular frame—its clean, elegant illustration ensures successful reproduction on a variety of materials, including packaging and mugs, and creates a brand that customers can easily identify.
