“How does a design firm with twenty years of successful print work increase its skill set to benefit clients and feed its hunger for new creative outlets? For us, the answer has been a special product line and store, LindySues.com,” said creative director Linda Warren. “It all started with our move in 2002 to the Beacon Laundry, a refurbished, 1930’s industrial laundry building, in Culver City, California. The new studio inspired our identity, which morphed into a tag line: ‘The clean-living folks at Studio Deluxe’ and promotional gifts wrapped in blue laundry paper. The natural evolution from there was a product line called Lindy Sue’s and, ultimately, an online store, launched in July 2006. Clients love the gifts. Consumer response is growing, as we gain attention in the blogosphere. We continue to add products based on what we’ve learned.”
