You’d be hard-pressed to find a distillery that challenges the so-called craft spirits industry as much as LoneWolf, the new spirits arm of Scotland-based BrewDog. To represent the hands-on production process and spirit of the maverick craft distillery, London-based B&B studio refined its name into a wolf’s head logo; the simple mark, at first glance, positions the brand as an outsider. B&B further ignored the conventions of the category by packaging vodka, gin and whisky in the same bottles and shippers, making the label removable to enable customers to leave their embossed bottles in their purest possible state. The stripped-back approach to design reflects LoneWolf’s commitment to product over brand.
