Type foundry Frere-Jones Type recently released Mallory, a new family of fonts that builds on a mix of typographic traditions. Uniting British and American traits, the font family offers a broad range of voices, from the prim and austere Thin weight to the loud, gregarious Ultra. Mallory acts as a versatile and reliable tool—each style contains 1,250 glyphs that cover everything from small caps and old-style figures for running text to tabular figures and currency symbols for financial data. From the spacing of every letter and number to the dot of the i, Frere-Jones Type reconsidered and reinforced every shape of Mallory to anticipate screens as well as the smallest print sizes.
