Riverside, Illinois-based Faust was hired by McDonald’s U.S. Restaurant Design Group to create a promotional catalog featuring new interior design schemes being offered to owner/operators across the country. The group needed collateral that not only projected the progressive vision of the design schemes but also articulated both the real and perceived value of choosing one over another. Titled, “Experience by Design,” the catalog is comprised of four booklets housed in a silkscreened chipboard sleeve. Each booklet features a variety of visual perspectives—architectural and in-use, actual details and broad-stroke ideas—that provide an honest viewpoint of each environment.
