“Nemumel” is a code-generated video by creative programmer, kynd, dedicated to Tokyo-based sound artist Sawako. Kynd created the video using a computer program made with Openframeworks, which takes sound as data input and generates graphics in real time. Exploring the borders between computer graphics, paintings and music videos, the video starts with an empty sheet of a paper. As Sawako's tranquil music increases in tension, the blank paper is marked with chaotic dripping colors—then returned to blankness.
