Mexican design firm Anagrama’s approach to branding Nordic House, a yet-to-open dry-cleaning shop, was focused on Scandinavian design. It combines simple geometric forms with a clean, sharp, well-distributed logotype and an icy color palette. Snowy white, cool grey, pine-needle green and fresh salmon combine to create a chilly Nordic landscape and evoke its pure, undisguised scents. The icons in the identity are designed with a stark, reductionist style. By eliminating unnecessary detail, Anagrama communicates cleanliness, perhaps the most important value in a dry-cleaning shop.
