The People for Bikes movement was started by the Bikes Belong Coalition, a national bike advocacy group with a goal of putting more people on bikes more often. To influence lawmakers in Washington, DC and to increase funding for better cycling infrastructure, Minneapolis-based Colle McVoy was charged with creating a national movement with some clout. To reach that goal, the campaign had to appeal to all types of casual and hardcore cyclists. This print and poster campaign demonstrates that each and every person who signs a pledge to support the cause helps provide a better future for cycling for every category of cyclist—road, mountain and casual rider.
