Christopher Griffith artfully depicts shapes and contemporary structures. It’s an ability that has nabbed him work with the likes of Dove, Maserati, the New York Times and, most recently, New York–based digital agency Kettle and luxury eyewear brand Persol Eyewear. The award-winning photographer’s sensibility, Kettle felt, would be perfect for Persol’s social media campaign. What better way to show the timelessness and modernity of Persol’s newest eyewear line than through the sleek aesthetic of modern architecture?

The full campaign began rolling out on Persol’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Tumblr channels on February 3rd, with individual posts alternating between three different types of content: architectural exteriors, which root users in the world of the campaign; still-life images of Persol’s new sunglasses and optical models, styled amongst architectural tools and against the abstracted lines and curves of modern edifices; and inspirational lines of copy, which speak to the principles of craft that shape both contemporary architecture and Persol’s new collection. Taken together, all the posts culminate in a unified mosaic of modernity.
