How do you illustrate your leadership in the outdoor vehicle insurance category while still delighting your audience? Feature nostalgia-packed ads in the style of ’70s and ’80s action movie posters. Progressive, in partnership with Boston-based ad agency Arnold Worldwide, created a print campaign depicting its fictional salesperson Flo riding epic creatures, from a wolf to a mallard duck, into the wilderness. Behind her, boats, RVs, dirt bikes and other vehicles follow. Aptly named Beastmaster and illustrated by Brooklyn-based Sam Spratt, with typography by London, United Kingdom–based illustration, animation and design studio Shotopop, the ads capture the fun, free spirit of outdoor adventure. The designs will also be used on T-shirts and collateral at motorcycle rallies across the United States to further inspire Progressive customers to conquer the great outdoors with confidence.
One Twenty Three West creates a flexible logotype that also functions as a blank canvas for murals.
