On the roof of theWit Hotel in Chicago is ROOF, an indoor/outdoor venue that has to be seen to be believed. It features communal tables with fire pits down the center for chilly Chicago nights, three bars, a full kitchen, a VIP area, and one-of-a-kind panoramic views of the city. New York’s BoyBurnsBarn created the perfect execution for a simple name by transforming the R in ROOF into an arrow. From the moment people line-up on the street, to the time the elevator doors open on the 27th floor, the arrow points visitors to where you want to be—up on the ROOF. Accompanying the environment are a waterproof, tearproof, staircase-shaped menu, a custom typeface and, of course, the blue of the sky.
