The first in a series of booklets featuring the photography of both seasoned and sophomore photographers. The main purpose of the project is to demonstrate how image curation and pacing, graphic design and printing processes amplify the impact of stories told by photographs. New photographic commentary on America’s Mother Road shatters the myth of Route 66 as a path to a better life and instead impresses on viewers what the road has become: A corridor of raw hopelessness and a symbol of American dreams no longer possible.
