Mexican technology brand Selfix breaks the status quo of the smartphone market by presenting very affordable, high-quality tech with versatile international options. And it’s defined not just by authenticity, but also by a visual identity that moves fearlessly from the bubble gum images normally sweetening the landscape of smartphone tech branding.

Created by Mérida, Mexico–based studio Bienal Comunicación, Selfix’s identity rests in the hands of those who would most use its services—fitting for a brand located in streets rich with urban art and contemporary expressions. In Bienal’s designs, fiery images abound: hands clenched in solidarity, hands throwing the signs for peace and goodwill, and hands that spell out “changemakers.” Tempered by a sleek black color palette and a modern logo, together, Selfix’s identity declares: We are a revolutionary smartphone brand, and we invite you to be an innovative decision generator. We dare you to be different. We ask you to join us in becoming a changemaker.
