Philadelphia-based Group M was hired early-on in the planning stages to create the brand and packaging for this new, high-end tequila. Ultimately it was a slogan developed during research, “the future of tradition,” that drove the naming and the visual approach for the project. The name, which translates to Blue Harvest, alludes to the blue agave used to produce the tequila and the custom bottle and label design are simple, elegant and contemporary. It’s a deliberate shift from the typically ornate designs of most tequila bottles. As part of the branding effort, a Web site and promotional video were also created.
