The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, was the inspiration for the haunted lodge in Stephen King’s The Shining. What better place to spend four days watching creepy movies? In May, the hotel hosted the first-ever Stanley Film Festival, screening an extensive program of indie horror films. Colorado agency Grit created the brand look and feel, which was carried throughout the integrated campaign. Special pieces, like a commemorative poster and a poster for the kick-off party that featured photos of the attendees, served as key extensions of the brand.
