STAR WARS and the Power of Costume is a new traveling exhibit curated by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service. It’s a stellar display of legendary costumes from the Star Wars films, so Washington, DC-based Design Army saw no better way to market the exhibition than by creating a STAR WARS fashion magazine. The design firm’s creative droids dreamed up and designed the prospectus, which not only introduces the exhibit but also includes galactic advertisements, space travel tips and sci-fi fashion faux pas. The magazine also features a ten-page editorial with custom illustrations created from the Lucas Films archives. May the fashion force be with you!
