“Here’s something you don’t hear too often, this is the work we pitched to win the account,” said writer Wade Alger. “We really wanted to showcase the state and have consumers interact with the advertising, not just look at it. The result? The map coordinate campaign. We spent three weeks shooting all over the state of Texas. From the Gulf Coast to Big Bend we covered the entire state which only solidified our position that a map is a good thing to have when visiting Texas. So far, the campaign has generated nearly double the target number inquiries. Proving once and for all, great creative does work. And that’s another thing you don’t hear too often.”
