An architectural landmark in Toronto’s east end has been restored and reimagined as a luxury boutique hotel: The Broadview Hotel. To balance the hotel’s new contemporary voice with the building’s lively past and gritty east-end roots, Toronto, Canada–based studio blok design created a bold identity, branding everything from wayfinding to in-room items to menus to the hotel’s spaces themselves. Witty touches of color and language pay homage to the eclectic details found throughout the hotel’s interiors.
