Established in 1981, the Charles Parker Archive Trust celebrates the renowned radio producer Charles Parker, whose radio ballads from the 50s and 60s are considered classics of radio production. Wanting to refresh its brand, the trust turned to Bath, United Kingdom–based brand and design agency Supple Studio. Supple Studio took on the project pro bono, creating a new visual identity centered around a tape spool “C” monogram inspired by Parker’s famed reel-to-reel field recordings. The identity has been rolled into events like Charles Parker Day and even onto the yearly magazine Actuality.
