Every 20 seconds, a family in Sub-Saharan Africa loses a loved one to unsafe drinking water. WATERisLIFE, an organization dedicated to providing people with access to clean drinking water, partnered with Deutsch NY to create a new campaign called The Last Family Portrait. The print campaign features individual family portraits of the Hamar and Mursi tribes in the Omo Valley of Ethiopia. Many of these families travel up to ten hours daily to unclean water sources in order to keep their family and livestock alive. The print campaign features these individual family portraits, each printed with a call to action.
