Spanish designer Jose Llopis created this new season artwork for an opera company across the Atlantic, in Binghamton, New York. The designer, who brings his unique style to projects ranging from posters to book covers, said, “When I design an opera poster, I start by studying the story and listening to the music. Only after I've saturated myself in the piece will I be ready to devise a concept for the work. This often happens while I'm doing everyday things: taking my dog for a walk, shopping or watching a film. I find many quirky objects that connect with my work, which I then develop graphically.
“Don Giovanni is about the peculiar love and passion of a gentleman in the XVII century, and Die Fledermaus connects with the well-known masquerade party of this opera. Carmen is an expression of the Spanish folks, but not necessarily the bulls fighting.”
Stitch Design Co. publicized the fitness club with a full-package identity and promotional events.
