Background: V.good is a new vitamin supplement brand with a mission to help people live the longest possible lifetime in good health. Supporting both health maintenance and busy lifestyles, the vitamin brand provides daily, portable sachets, each containing a combination of essential vitamins, mineral and nutrient capsules with no artificial fillers or nasties. V.good asked us to create a brand identity and packaging that would challenge the vitamins and supplement sector—taking vitamin packaging from something buried at the back of the medicine cabinet to a more lifestyle-focused brand that could sit proudly on your desk.

Reasoning: The key to V.good’s offer is its simple delivery method—all of your daily supplements and vitamins collected in a single, convenient packet. We communicated this by creating a simple, minimal graphic language that cuts through traditional pharmaceutical visual cues and puts the focus on wellbeing. The linking dot between the letters in the logo becomes a symbol for the supplements and provides a color signpost to differentiate between future products.

Challenges: This project was about finding a balance. Embedding fun, inclusivity and simplicity into the supplements sector while still retaining the authority and trust was essential when promoting health maintenance.

Favorite details: Giving the V.good logo the flexibility to work as a monogram. This achieves maximum impact on the pack front while also being a great solution for small-scale applications such as social media avatars.

Visual influences: One of the keys to cracking the brief was creating a vitamin brand you would be proud to be seen with—making sure that the packaging was Instagram-friendly and instantly recognizable was at the forefront of our minds.

Specific demands: We had to design the brand to work as a standalone piece of packaging, but also future-proof it to be able to accommodate future ranges. As we knew this requirement from the start, we built it into the concept stage, leading to the linking dot between the letters in the logo providing a color signpost to differentiate between products.
