Vee-Noh! was a project Australian designer Caroline Gilroy worked on in her free time while studying at Billy Blue College of Graphic Design in Sydney. Really wanting to create a new concept for the wine label market, the design was based on the pronunciation, or rather the mispronunciation, of certain makes of wine. Once the phonetics had been worked out, she began the design process: The idea behind the design was to stay true to her typographic roots, keep it neat and simple and incorporate elements of punctuation.
