Anyone who’s ever traveled knows how hard it is to eat healthily, sleep deeply and stay active while on the road. Although Westin is focused on empowering you to maintain your wellness, having spent the last five years designing guest programs along six pillars of wellness and running ad campaigns to communicate these programs, its visitors were just not making the connection. So San Francisco–based ad agency Venables Bell & Partners helped Westin stop talking about each individual amenity it offers and instead speak about why wellness as a whole is important to travelers. Print ads from the Let’s Rise campaign, along with the integrated campaign’s commercials and other elements, speak to the constant push and pull between the desire travelers have to maintain their well-being and the disruptions of travel that can throw off their routines. The photography features women and men rising to the occasion, whether waking early for a run or reclaiming their wellness after the stress of air travel. More than a campaign or tagline, Let’s Rise is a call to action for travelers to not just get up, but rise.
