Based in the Yucatán’s capital city, Mérida, Mexico, Workcenter Mexico provides a networking and creation space where entrepreneurs can develop talents, take part in events and bring innovative ideas to their projects. As part of its identity system, creative studio Bienal designed an isotype that unites Workcenter Mexico’s initials to reflect its collaborative spirit, and features this isotype on everything from company literature and signage, to coffee cups available from the creative center’s café. Bienal also developed a grid system inspired by the architecture of the building that helps to transmit the versatility and expressive capacity of the project. Architectural firm Lavalle+Peniche created the interior spaces and furniture design that provide a comfortable setting for Mérida’s entrepreneurs to develop ideas.
