Duration: We started Bilder almost two years ago.

Staff: The two of us–Ana Moriset and Matias Cageao–and a group of designers who collaborate with us. We also team up with photographers, illustrators, architects and programmers when necessary.

Education: We both have degrees in graphic design from the University of Buenos Aires.

Cultural influences: Paul Rand, Saul Bass, Aleksandr Rodchenko, Bauhaus, the room at MoMA where the Klimts are, R.E.M. videos, Jack Kerouac, pen-and-ink drawings, Las ruinas circulares by Borges, the Butterfly chair, signs at Coney Island, Rem Koolhaas, the collection of postcards from every museum Matias has visited, Sonic Youth, Dubo Dubon Dubonnet, breakfast at the Hungarian Pastry Shop in NYC, road trips, blowing dandelions, Paula Scher, Bob Dylan, taking seven hundred pictures a trip, Swiss design, 1950's architecture, old toys and some new toys, Casino's opening titles, the streets of London and the corners of Prague, our old Kodak Instamatics, hand-lettering, Pink Panther and Astro Boy, jazz at La Trastienda, our 54 cacti, the spirit of the Eames' home interiors, Medeski Martin & Wood, Julio Cortazar's La autopista del sur, an infinite number of magazines, cotton candy, Elvis collector's edition albums, old type catalogs, finding out we’d taken almost the same pictures when we were kids, the back cover of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and, of course, Helvetica.

Environment: A light-blue-painted place, full of books and magazines, pencils and brushes, pictures, postcards and posters on the walls and the music always on. A big window overlooks some gardens and trees; behind them is Buenos Aires, a great, contradictory and cool city where there's always something to do and see, no matter the time of day.

Philosophy: Ask questions, move, look, choose a typeface. And start all over again.
