A strong sense of geometry and solid color fields infuse the work of Brief, a design firm formed by married couple Thomas Albrighton and Banafsheh Pourpezeshk. Although the studio is physically anchored in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, the pair's creative influences come from their travels around the globe. "At Brief, we create design that we feel has an international appeal," explains Pourpezeshk, "something that you could see on the other side of the world and would not think looked out of place." Keeping conceptual design at the forefront, Brief provides small businesses with design strategies strong in concept and personality. "We have intentionally kept Brief small for a unique one-on-one design experience with our clients, and we collaborate with a carefully selected network of expert individuals for other project needs," the pair says.
