Location: Nancy, France.
Duration: Two years.
Staff: We are two artists, Bertrand Jamot, photographer, and Philippe Tytgat, graphic designer.
Influences: We are both interested in typography, graphic design, modern photography and especially music.
First big break: Our music video “Dream” for a band named Husbands. It was a DIY project with light boxes illuminating typographic treatments of the lyrics—created without any help from a computer.
Technique: We love working with our hands and thinking about how to show things more creatively through typography, photography and installations. We try our best to produce all our work by ourselves, even if sometimes we need a little help with some technical details.
Philosophy: We do not consider ourselves movie directors, but rather a photographer and a graphic designer using video. There is a difference because our different jobs permit us to approach video from different points of view.
