Duration: About five years.
Staff: Although I work basically by myself, I love to discuss my work with colleagues and friends at my studio.
Education: I studied illustration at the University of Arts Berlin and a year at the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao, Spain.
Cultural Influences: My work has developed out of a printmaking process. From George Grosz to Raymond Pettibon, from woodcuts and screenprints to papercuts, from popular vintage graphics to comic books, I’m really interested in different visual languages and I’m always looking out for something new and interesting.
Environment: My studio is right at Rosenthaler Platz, in the heart of Berlin Mitte District, right above the Bongout Gallery. I share the place with other illustrators, visual artists...and my collection of books.
Philosophy: Be enthusiastic about what you do.
