Duration: Since 2007.
Education: I graduated from the Superior Institute of Design, Havana, Cuba.
Staff: Currently I’m an art director for Brunet-García Advertising, Inc.
Cultural Influences: Simple design and strong concepts always manage to transcend the trends. Coming from Cuba, I’m inspired by the style and simplicity of Cuban posters of the ’60s and ’70s. This influence is ever-present in my illustration work. Eduardo Muñoz Bachs from Cuba and New York-based Luba Lukova are two of my favorites poster designers.
Environment: Our studio is wide open and welcoming, fostering collaboration and a spirit of free-thinking.
Philosophy: Remain true to myself. Work hard. Overcome my fears. Anything is possible.
